I already have a grease gun loaded with the above linked grease. Can I use this to regularly grease my propeller shaft? it doesn't specifically say NLGI #2, but it is NLGI GC-LB which I understand is for auto chasis and wheel bearings. if not, can someone point me to a grease I can find at my local auto parts store that would work.

also, When greasing the propeller shaft do I pump in grease until I see old grease getting pushed out or just a few pumps, but not enough to force the old grease out. I am seeing conflicting stuff out there regarding this.

FWIW, I have used Lucas Red n Tacky for years on drive lines.

As far as how much, I generally just give the slip yokes 2-3 pumps every 10-15k miles. Overfilling the slip yoke could cause the shaft to hydraulically lock when trying to compress if the cavity between the yoke and splines is full of grease. Plus, too much grease oozing out the other end flings all over the bottom of the rig and makes a mess.

Thanks! I have a slight clunk when braking. I assume just couple pumps of grease fitting in No 2 since this is the compressing part? Any reason to pump in No 1 & 3? If yes, how many pumps into those?

Grease all three. Two or three pumps will do. You can overfill the cavity. If it still clunks when you stop, after you grease it, take it to the dealership. This is a know fault in this driveline design.

You have to geese grease the 6 fittings. Three in the back drive shaft and three in the front drive shaft.

Thx Will crawl under the truck this weekend. I assume you need to have one wheel of the ground so it can be rotated to get access to each fitting.
