Will FJ-60 Doors work In An FJ-62? (Part II) (1 Viewer)

I have been considering this swap. I had assume it would work, but, the SOR website lists a different striker for a 60 and 62.

Can I just swap the doors (or maybe just the hardware and stuff), or is the swap more involved?

It sounds like a lot of expense and a lot of work to essentially delete the power door locks and power windows. Also, with the 60 doors, you loose the nice, big power mirrors of the 62, unless the retrofit the 62 mirrors to the 60 doors.

Like I said before, it sounds like you really want a 60. If I had a 62 and really wanted a 60, I'd either sell the 62 and buy a 60 or keep the 62 and buy a 60.

The doors will physically fit and bolt on, but the internals that hold all of the window, mirror, and power lock assemblies are completely different. If you wanted to lose all that stuff and go manual, then it will work.

Well I do have a 62, and I love it. I just want manual windows/locks/mirrors now. So I may swap.
