Just got reassigned overseas and can't take our 100. Has only 130k. Always serviced at Toyota (13 years of history in the glove box). Garage kept. Synthetic oil. Japanese oil filters from Cruiser Dan (still have 2 of them). Factory locker. Has box for in-cabin air filter. Completely re-badged last year (to include Toyota lug-nuts, center caps and new speaker covers on front speakers) . No rust. I removed running boards but still have them (they are in good shape...just not a running board person). Yakima roof rack. Toyota just serviced brakes front and rear as well as replaced CV boots while the front end was apart. We looked for a year before we found this cruiser. Vehicle is in Northern VA. This truck is my wife's baby (she opted to give up her new BMW to drive a 99 Cruiser) and it has served our family well. You will be hard pressed to get her to take less then 12600.

Ok, so no one has responded. What are we doing wrong? Suggestions? Pics? Price? We searched for almost a year before finding this truck.

Thanks for the suggestions. This truck has had its timing belt replaced. Every service required/recommended by Toyota has been done. For example, when the service manual said flush the power steering system, it was flushed, by Toyota. I have every service record on this truck and you could go to any Toyota dealer and give them the VIN and it would spit out a novel of records (to include the BIG 120k service). This truck came from the West coast and is way better than any truck we could find from this area. No mods on this truck as it was my wife driving it. 3 owner truck and 2 of them were women (my wife included in that number). The paint isn't perfect (a few scratches on bumpers). We currently have the truck treated with Zaino Bros paint products (highly recommend them) and it looks great! The interior looks good with some minor wear of lady-butt on the passenger seat. No tears or rips. The Yakima rack is 10 years old but works great. Will work on some better photos. As stated in my ad, we looked for almost a year for a truck that was in excellent all around condition. We just drove this truck to Tennessee one month ago for a family reunion and it did awesome. Really don't want to let it go but our overseas assignment only allows for one car and we are shipping my Tacoma. Wife totally depressed.

Good pics and lots of them are crucial. Seems trivial but I've bought and sold 28 cars, mostly sight unseen, and the main thing that gets me a good price is lots of great photos that makes a potential buyer know exactly what they're getting. Sounds like a fair price to me, but if you want it you'll have to be even more detailed (and patient unfortunately).

here are pics of the Toyota Service manuals (which will stay with the truck) and the Yakima rack. Its about 10 years old but works just fine.

Working on better pics...but we both suck a taking pictures.

The price seems ok if the vehicle is maintained and in good condition.

I've bought and sold a lot of vehicles, boats and RVs. Presentation definitely helps. Lots of pictures and be clear what you are selling and the condition. I always ask before I go out to look at something, has the seller disclosed all outstanding issues with the vehicle, condition, etc. It's a bummer to go look at something and its dirty, not what the seller represented through the Internet, etc. I'm sure you will get it sold as soon as a buyer comes along and knows what they are getting for the dollars.

Perhaps go to a dealership website and see the kind of photos they take of a used car, that should help.

That's a great cruiser, if I hadn't just bought one, I'd be into that..

I personally do not like the fade in/out effect of youtube. Photobucket is another option. The few cars I sold I used craigslist as a launching pad and cross linked to ih8mud, expedition portal, local Land Cruiser clubs. If using craigslist, do not type numbers for your phone, spell out the number.

Here is an example: https://forum.ih8mud.com/fj40-bj40/761416-1973-fj40-2f-4spd-ps.html

Sold my FJ40 and 1992 Pickup in two days using this method (sale pending). Both from craigslist.

Nice 100, hope it sells soon.
