Wife locked keys inside, electronic lock button

Hello, my wife locked her only set of keys in the landcruiser. I pried open the door a bit and was able to reach in and hit the electronic unlock button but it seems to be disabled (as perhaps a security feature). Any experience with this? Do I have to call a locksmith or someone with a slim Jim?

Should work fine with the keys in there. Maybe try the passenger side.

Many Police Departments will assist with keys locked in car (slim jim/other). And I guess it doesn't need to be said...but 'You should have a spare key hidden somewhere on the vehicle'.
