Just picked up this beauty over the weekend. I had the pleasure to drive it couple of times and really impressed.

Compared to my tough, trusty GX470:
+ GX460 of course looks better and has more features.
+ Handles amazingly better but not comparable because GX460 kdss vs GX470 without kdss.
- Less low end torque than GX470. Not sure if any one ever dynoed both engines and compared torque curves. I'm expecting 470 has flatter curve. Also feels that GX470 can rev freely and easily.
- GX460 transmission feels hunting/picking whereas GX470 put me in optimal spot.
Neutral is that GX460 feels refined vs GX470 feels raw.

Compared to my LC200:
+ Much more nimble and "lighter" feel than LC.
+ Atomic silver is amazing and showcases the lines. I wish Atomic silver is available on LC.
- No contest 4.6 vs 5.7
- Material doesn't feel solid/quality compared to LC.

nice ride & congrats......I too shortly looked at the GX470's

Wanted the 2010+ series...more features etc as you mentioned..

Plus......had to get something newer than the '05 Tacoma DC SB we replaced...

Thus I found our 11 GX 460 Premium...w/95K miles...have added only less than 1K miles to the clock

So far the wife says 'What '05 Tacoma ?' Which she drove nearly 15 years...she luvs her 'GX'

This is our first Lexus.....but have always had a Toyota

You're right, that color is really nice.

Nice! The new look has grown on me and regret not waited a little longer because adaptive cruise control is not standard on premium!!! :bang:

Adaptive cruise on Toyota/Lexus is kinda notchy and touchy with braking when compared to other makes. It is one of the electronic gadgets I can honestly say I am disappointed with on our LX570 (Nav and infotainment go without saying).

Congrats, That is a nice color. We just picked up a 2013 GX with 62K miles for the Mrs. I figure I'll take over the vehicle when she's done with it and I can pass my 08 4runner to my son. :-)

My wife picked up a 2017 premium two months ago. This is the text she sent me last weekend after driving 2 hours in a snowstorm.

So I’m currently in a 2005 LC and my wife’s driving the GX. It’s making me want a 2013+ LX. Mainly for the new features and towing capabilities. I absolutely love my 100 and overall, I prefer it over the GX. But I can’t help but think I’ll like the LX 200 more than both. For those with a 200 series, what’s your thoughts on that idea?

We have both a 2019 LX570 and a 2019 GX460 and imho 200 series over everything. The GX is a better size for around town and on tight trails but if you can make your 100 series work then you won’t be giving up much there.

I second this. We have a 2015 GX 460 and a 2015 LC 200 (we traded in a 2017 GX for it). If it is an option, go for the 200/LX. That's doubly true if you already have a GX.

Agreed! I am contemplating selling the 570 in a year or two and getting one of the "supposed" last 200 series Land Cruisers and doing a full build.
