I already committed to beige on my restoration but that old rustic green makes me loose my religion. One cannot go wrong with that green. Very nice!

It grows on you. I really wanted a Dune Beige one, but when I found that one pretty much rust-free, I took it regardless of color.

Wheels are finished. Tim Smith, Wheel Works -Burlington NJ did the widening. Not sure what color to paint them yet, starting with Otter Brown.

Just curious if you have thrown them on a wheel balancer. Just to see how they spin up.
I had to know so I took mine in to my buddies shop to to give them a spin on the balancer. I was surprised to see how balanced they where almost perfect.
When I may be throwing on some huge super swampers on my wheels one day ,I wanted to know what I was working with.
Your Wheels look good.

Tim Balanced them before he shipped them back, haven’t checked myself, but assume they will be fine. Planning on putting tires on soon, then we will see.

i have a huge lathe built in 1898 i used many times to widen wheels for local stock car guys .due to liability and possible law suits i only make them for myself now

Hubcaps are a pain the butt...

Yes, but they look so good, they're worth a little extra effort. I had to bend some of my spring tabs with big pliers to get mine to go on at all.
