Hi all, a friend of mine is selling his 81 FJ40 with OEM PS. He is not on MUD and asked me to help him sell it. He is the 2nd owner and bought it in 1989. Back half of the tub is rough but it runs and drives fine, I drove it today. Hard top looks to be rust free. If you have serious interest PM me and I will pass on his number to you. Hi Vegabond, yes indeed, same vehicle but now down to $7k asking price without the extra parts. It would be a great project for someone willing to do a half tub replacement. It started right up and drove nice. Bill and I became friends over the past couple of weeks while negotiating a package deal for the extra parts. If I could afford to buy the 81 I would consider it.
