One day really soon people are going to be bitching and moaning about how 80 series trucks with over 100K are going for $20-30K.

Trucks with 51K miles and in pristine condition will be going for their original sale prices in the 1990's... possibly more.

We are all driving collectible vehicles whether one wants to admit it or not.

I picked up my lx450 from my in laws 4 years ago. I rolled 40,000miles that day as I drove it home. Just turned 90,000mi last week.....

They are out there. This one spent most of it's life in an airport parking garage.

Had my eye on their '05 gx470 (10,000mi), but bro-inlaw's wife tagged a pole with it last month...

I was more upset than anyone else in the family...

Apparently, I need better relatives......

I just get my neighbor's kid's hand-me-downs.......

The price of 80s has come up in the last couple years for sure. At $15K I would say it is at the top of the for sale numbers I have been seeing.
He, as they say, stole It. If Its as He discribed.

My neighbor's 97 LX (same color) has 61k. Bought it brand new and they drive it to the store and once every year to Utah for skiing. That's it. I already have dibs on it. :flipoff2:
AW Man, Now thats just mean..!:)

Ah shucks Raisin.

On that note. I do wonder all the crap I've done to my 80 will either be a good or bad thing down the road. No, I'm not thinking of it as a high dollar roller classic, but as we all have learned (those that dabble in "classics") the unmodified ones are closing getting harder to find, and many we see on the ebay/cl/ect are pretty beat with "hard" to find pieces.
