Why do brake pads have two different item#s and prices for the same axle? Is the cheaper good? Is the more expensive better? What do you use?

The cheaper ones are the economy version Toyota uses for their $199 (example) per axle brake specials whenever that used to occur or maybe it still does, not sure.

I would recommend using the slightly higher priced pads if you're able to. The cheaper ones will work but they're not as good as the more expensive ones from my experience.

What difference did you notice? was it dust, noise or wear?
