Why are the majority of my pictures lost and how can I easily restore them?

I've noted that my photos are lost from my posts. Haven't searched all my posts though but repeatedly come across blanks as seen in the thread below.

I use photo bucket.

any know how to fix this? Woody?

Most photobucket photos came in perfectly...unsure why yours did not. Guessing there are multiple means of linking to outside image hosting sources.

Manual post edit is the only means of correcting.

I did a bunch of hunting...oddly, it seems yours was the one I ran across with issues, others using the same service did something different and it doesn't "break" the code....

sorry, wish I had an easy solution...

Any way to get pics that were in our "Albums".... I didn't have copies for many of them.

Album import is pending...the developer is taking longer to get it ready than I anticipated

@BG_TX - I've got a developer hired for those...I'm "on his list"...that ETA is VERY unknown...

The original developer for that abandoned the project two years ago...so no help there either...

Found the reason. When I posted pics n the past, I copied the Image code and pasted as part of the insert function in the old forum. Where I did this, the image doesn't show up in this new forum.

However If I post a direct code link from photobucket into this new forum it shows fine and nicely with out thumb nails like below

It seems the source image size really affects how its displayed in forum. Both images are different sized and are displayed in the forum relative to original

I was going to ask the same question. I had a bunch linked from facebook and they are just showing broken links now.

Edit: Links to photos from my album are also not working. I'll just wait for the update. There are way too many to try to fix one at a time.
