I am looking at my next set of tyres and want to know if anyone is running this size with std offset landcruiser rims.

I have the LC lifted and it's fitted with Total Chaos UCA's but I am wondering if 315/70 x 17's will rub?

I am currently on 295/70 x 17 Cooper STT's but I can't get them here in Australia.

My choices are 285/70 :frown: x 17 or 315/70 x 17 :).

Any photos will be great.

My 305/70/17's rub slightly on my Carl's UCA's.

me :D

But with steelies that have an offset that I think is equal to running a 1" spacer on stock rims.

No rubbing (AT's - I recon MT's would rub a bit). definatley need bump stop exptentions!

Thanks for that info, very helpful.

They are the same wheels I am running. They come from the 200 series LandCruiser but I was told they have the same offset as the Alloys??

Spacers are illegal here in Australia and I am definately looking for Muddies so it looks like I will have to get 285/70 x 17's after all.:frown:

Can you clarify that? Do you have 17" steelies that have been modified with a different offset? Where did you get them, what did you do etc.

Those rims look like my 16" steelies with 305s on them.

Yes they rub.....a little......but only when aired down, under normal driving there's no rubbing, but I have trimmed the inner mudguard liner at the rear of the wheel, removed the mud flaps, adjusted the steering bump stops, changes the UCA's etc etc etc....well worth it for me.

mooooooooo, They are apparently stock 17" off a 200 series G, I dont know what the offset difference is but there is some and the tyres are 315/75/r17 BFG AT's

I'm running Mickey Thompson MTZ Mud Terrains, rims are stock 17x8 alloys

I am about to mount a set of 315/70/17 KO2 on Rock Warrior rims to my 06 with 2.5" OME lift. Will use thw 1.25" spidertrax spacers.

Hoping everything will work out well! I got a great deal on the tire/wheel combo used on CL.

Any suggestions for rims that fit the LC bolt pattern for BFG KO2 ATs? Size of tire is 315/70 R17. Either steel or magnesium. Newbie here.

Did you ever find one?
I’m going with that tire on Tuesday and I’m going to go with a Moto wheel 970. OME 2.5 inch lift installed then wheels and tires. Wondering which wheels You went with? :)

I have since mounted the 315/70/17 ko2 and rock warrior combo on my 06. Had to trim the fender liner. That's been fine for the pavement. Haven't had it off road yet so not sure what other clearances will be needed.

Love the stance! Let me know how it does off road. I’m looking for my next set of tires for my 17” wheels.

It might be awhile until this trucks sees any serious off roading. It's really pretty right now and I'd like it to stay that way for a bit longer!

Even with the 1.25 spacers I am guessing there's going to be a fair bit of additional "massaging" necesarry to eliminate any off road rubbing. I was actually planning to purchase the Nitto Trail Grappeler in 35x11.5x17 but I bought this wheel/tire combo used off CL from a guy who was running it on his lifted Tundra.

The Nitto published specs are 34.75"x 11.4". The KO2 is 34.4x12.7, so over a full inch wider. I'm a huge BFG fan and really wish they'd do a bit narrower true 35" ko2 or km3!

You will most likely need a body lift..

I am running 315/75/16s on OEM wheels, with 1.25" spacers. I had to hammer the pinch weld back, and trim the fender liner. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
