I have the 4runner and met some of you last fall for the run. I will be arriving Wed night to the campground. The other 2 guys will be arriving Sunday before and running bikes and quads for several days.

NOVA Caravan

How's this for a plan - leave from Marshall at 2:30 or 3:00 on Wednesday (Brandon - what's the name of that gas station north of 66 on 17?) and head up to 81 on 17. This route seems faster to me than taking 15 to 81 and you avoid going through the traffic in Harrisburg. Let me know what you think and we'll start putting a plan together.

Who's planning to go to the World famous Pig-O-Rama at RC in August? I've been to a few Pig Runs and it's always a laid back good time.

Bob,

sounds like a plan. I think that the gas station was a sheetz.

17 to 81 is definitely further miles... going west before we cut north. Also keep in mind that 81 runs the north side of Harrisburg, so we may still hit some traffic. That said, I will join you guys.

Bob(and others)

The Gas station located at 17 and 66 in Marshall is an Amaco/Mcdonalds.
Depending on the amount of people in this caravan parking could be tight but i dont think it will be a huge issue.

Also, are you planning to take 66 across to I-81 north or 17, i know it says 17 but i've never done that.

Anyways, whether we meet at the Sheetz in Haymarket or the Amaco in Marshall, i'll be there

You fella's have fun.

Looks like I'm sitting this one out.:crybaby:

Somebody kick Junk in the nuts for me K.:flipoff2:

makes two of us......Fxxx.......

I really wanted to get out to this one...If JUNK would ever get back to me with his addy then i can send him stuff for everyone...

The northern NY crew will be there, well some of us. I think it's our 5th or 6th CMCC. In typical fashion before this event I just re-installed my complete wiring harness last week, finished my headlight project the other day, and a few more things yet to finish before the truck is driveable. Talk about racing to meet a deadline.

Registration!?

I'd like to go to CMCC this year, but I have not yet registered.

I know the deadline has passed, but can someone put me in contact with the person(s) in charge of registration?

Thanks!!!

JR

Brandon,Tony you two whellin with me and Dale :grinpimp:

Well to everyone who will be there weather's gettin WARM ya ?

Burl

I spoke with Brother Burl yesterday and he is planning to join the caravan as we go through Winchester. Going up 17 (through Winchester) is a few more miles than going up 15 but it seems to be faster since you don't have to go through Leesburg or Harrisburg. I almost always get stuck in PM traffic when I go through Harrisburg.

Bob, that's cool. Good point about Leesburg abd Harrisburg. I will be there. We will need a new tailgunner for tha caravan, since reffug can't make it... that sucks.

Spoke to Lance today, my sliders are getting welded on tomorrow morning at Iron Pig. Nothing like some last minute mods.

Jeff

Sounds good bob,

So is the tentative plan to meet at the Marshall Amaco/Mcdonalds on Wed. at 2:30-3:00pm?

Also, for those who may need it. The Marshall exit for this gas station is EXIT 28 off I-66 West.

Hi all, I just noticed this thread. I'll pipe up even though none of you know me...

This'll be my first CMCC, in fact my first Cruiser event... looking forward to meeting some of you, and especially to seeing all the old FJ's!

This is me (well, my vehicle). It'll be my cruiser's virgin run since its transformation from stock, and I'll still be doing last minute stuff all weekend. Hopefully I get done or else I'll be stuck on the easiest stuff.

Either case I'll be happy to be there; but I sure hope it lasts the weekend!

I expect to be coming in from Pittsburgh into Red Ridge Wednesday evening.

Hope to meet you all there!

PS--What time & where should I be Thursday morning in case of a snafu on Wed.???

Folks form up at Paragon at about 8:30 in case you're running late.

elskippo you ARE coming RIGHT ?

Looks like I'll join up with you all along 81 when you come though Winchester ,Bob I'll give you a call Monday evening to set up things.

if all else fails you can just pay at Paragon. You don't get to play in the raffle or BBQ though :frown:
