Who's going to be the first to mod their 200?

This a 200 series front bumper recently introduced during an offroad show in Venezuela.

I haven't seen it "in the flesh" yet, but just by watching the photos I already have some serious concerns as to how it is mounted on the vehicle...

Looks quite nice, though.

Looks pretty good in the pics anyway.

Hmmm, looks pretty good !! Definitely different looking though. Like to see a straight on shot of the white one. Good to see they incorporated the design of the bumper all the way up to the fender seam like the factory bumper does. I think the ARB and TMJ's leave some of the plastic bumper trim under the headlights. Not sure how those incorporate the plastic into the bull bar design but this one looks to be more of a direct replacement than those. Installation looks to be easier than the ARB and TMJ..At least by the look of this one. Hard to tell though without actually seeing the install instructions. Nice to see the aftermkt interest in the 200 is well on its way...

Have you seen any info on the TMJ or ARB bumpers? Where can I find info on this?

Thanks

Guys, Thought you may be interested in the ARB Deluxe bar fitted to my LC 200 TTD here in Australia.

The bars have only just started to be in the market place the last few weeks here.

Very nice! From what ARB USA says the bars will be hitting the port this Monday in the US.

From there they said that they should go out to the dealers who ordered them by Wed or Thursday.

So mine should be delivered by the end of the next week. Then we install with the Warn 12000 winch and synthetic rope!!

Guys,
I would say the front dropped by 10mm (3/8"). Car handles as good as it did prior to fitment. I hope this helps. Please bare in mind there is no winch fitted. Waiting for Safari snorkel to be release now.

That is great!

I have my bumper coming in this week. Terry just confirmation from ARB USA today! It is in the country and should be shipped within 2 days.

I did get the Warn M12000 winch also since the bars are only available with the winch space. I didn't want to leave it blank.

The winch weighs 136 pounds with a steel cable. I am having a synthetic cable put on, so it should bring the weight down some also.

Ok question for you. On the side view it looks like it goes quarter panel, then they still have a little bit of the original bumper, then a rubber piece, THEN the new bumper. Am I seeing that correctly?

Please let me know!

Thanks and Congrats!

You are correct about the bumper then rubber piece then new bumber. They cut the original bumper and insert the rubber piece to make it neat.

Also it looks from the photos that the US version of the 200 has the headlight washers. That is an option here and ARB say the bar that is compatible with the factory washers is still at least 1 - 2 months away from release ( note the 200 above doesn't have headlight washers). I have mine on order and they say the design is not complete.

If they are arriving in the US next week it would be interesting to see if the ones shippped there will make you lose the washer. Not a big deal but it would be a pity to lose it through a minor point. The difference is a factory cutout and some extra metal work apparently.

Be interesting to see what ARB US say about that.
