I’m looking at getting some WeatherTechs for my 100 (lx470). I’m struggling with which color. It has dark taupe floor mats now which are stock and I like how the darker color contrasts with the lighter carpet and leather. I’m thinking black or grey. I’m leaning towards great since it is the closest thing to taupe but thinking black could look nice too.

Anyone here have the same interior with WeatherTechs who can give advice or share pics?

I went with black. My 98 LX interior is a little more "tan" than the later ivory color. Grey could look good. But, I figure these are going to get dirty, so it doesn't matter too much. I went with grey seat covers that I put on when off-roading to protect the leather. That seemed a better option than the tan covers.

I went with the tan Weathertechs in my ‘02 LX (Not sure if the ivory in the ‘03-‘07 is a different shade)

Thanks for the great responses!!! Both the Black and Tan look great!

Anyone with pictures of the grey for the trifecta?!

the more I look at these pictures, the tan seem to blend in perfectly with a color somewhere between the ivory and the taupe accents

Yeah looks like a good match...

for reference i cheaped out and got lloyd mats rubber tite and color matches perfect to seats... 2 rows plus cargo mat for $180

everything is wearing out fine except for drivers mat, its harder to remove black smudges but its a given since its very light color.

after looking at more pictures and reading more reviews it seems like the tan floor mats don’t age well. Have you had issues with staining or discoloring over time? Do you have a shot of your second row?

I have tan cruiser leather with black weathertech mats. With wear, the black turns varying shades of black and semi dark gray with dirt etc. But a quick soap and brush gets them mostly black again.

Most importantly than color, is that they catch a lot of crap, spills etc.

I don't know if others have this problem, but my front passenger mat is like 1 inch too short.

I haven’t noticed any staining since I’ve only had the mats for two months. I have black in my two other cars and they do get greyish with dirt

Here are the black (non-Weathertech) ones I have on my 80 and 200. Even though they're black, they show a lot of dirt

Black rubber mats look perpetually dirty except the 1st day after cleaning.
