hhhmmmm i never thought i would see the day that MUD failed me...looks like i might have to do all my own leg work on this one....

Hmmmm. I think I know of a shop in California that might have one possibly for sale at the right price. Highly reputable shop, very cool owner, Not so good toenails.

If you're lucky you might find one in Central America. Be prepared to fix alot of previous owner nightmares though!
I KNOW they were sold in Central America and very occasionally I see one for sale when I'm in the country (twice in two years).

Troopy For Sale!
1980 HJ45 Troop Carrier

RHD, from Austrailia. 6 cylinder 2H diesel runs well, H41 4 speed, full floater rear.
One of the first imported by owner back in the 90's. Has been with us since 1999. Registered in the U.S. Body was repainted in 98, original color. There are a few spots which could use minor attention. Interior is especially clean; seats were disassembled and frames powdercoated, then recovered. Dash original and uncut. Headliner good shape. Aluminum front bumper. Original 16 inch split rims to come with troopy (not shown). This is a true collectible.

$22,500/BJ42 partial trades considered
