Greetings,
I am wanting to wheel in the Alabama area and want to know where a cool place to rockcrawl would be?

I saw the thread on stoneylonesome park so i won't ask about that new park.

Has anyone wheeled at Choccolocco orv park? if so, how was it?

what about morris mountain or gadsden's mountainside orv park?
.
Heard grayrock was good. thats where our Cottonland event was last year. It has moved to superlift offroad park in Hot Springs which is a great park.

Thanks guys

Mountainside has lots of rocks, but most are on near vertical hillclimbs. It's an ok place, I just don't like stuff that steep.

Haven't been to Choco yet, but plan to scout it out sometime in the next 3 weekends for the upcoming southeast 4Runner Jamboree on Memorial Day weekend-which is open to all Toyota's.

Morris Mountain is awesome, definitely would check it out-been there about 5 times.

ya grayrock is fun, but pretty much 95% of trails are hammer down and burn your tires. The partying at night is good, but that's not why i go wheelin. I want to ride. And most the trails at grayrock are for buggies.

Morris mt trails are badass, but it seems to always rain when i go.

Mountain Side, chocoloco, and Stoney lonesome should be fun, haven't been yet.

i'll definetely be at super lift crawl!!!:bounce:

Badass and dragr1 do you have pics of you guys at morris mountain?

You guys will not be disappointed at all with Superlift ORV Park!

Lenny, you bring the sami over?

I like to ride Baddass ORV. Lenross, if you ride with badass, bring something like a wrench to throw at him, makes it alot more enjoyable.

Morris mtn is awesome.
Chocco SUCKS, nothing but hillclimbs, oh yeah, it also SUCKS. In case you missed it previously in the paragraph, it SUCKS. Please go though, you must develop your own opinion about it.

I miss riding in Aalabama already, boo hoo.

i plan on doing some wheeling with the sami hopefully this summer. Just need to find out where to go! I have not wheeled anywhere in alabama. :o

i plan on bringing the 80 to the crawl in October !

Choccollocolooco's website looked promising. why does it "inhale forcefully". i would say SUCKS but you wore it out in the previous thread  Is choccolocoomolocco a small park?

cause it's a hill side with trails level 1-4 going up and down, up and down, up and down. The level is represented by how much loose gravel is on the up and down. There were maybe 3 promising spots that saves you from completely beating your head on your bumper in angst. We drove by Morris mtn on the way to chocco-latte and everyone in our group wanted to haul ass back to MM to ride just to justify the long trip to Mocco-Latte-with-Sprinkles.

So of all the places in Alabama which one would you suggest I go to? Morris Mountain? Nobody has mentioned Gardendale. How is it?

I know Landspeeder loves choccolate mountain gravel park. If chocomounto had shunts would it be any better?

Gardendale isn't technically a legal place. People go and nothing is said, but it isn't a park, which is why I have never been. I say Morris Mountain is the best I've seen so far. I'm still gonna :bang: at Choccolocco sometime to say I've been-one of the next 2 weekends. That weekend will more than likely be spent half at Choco and half at Morris.
