where to find OEM type soft top latches

where would i find a source to get the OEM style soft top latches used on soft tops... i've got an idea brewing in my head, updates will be later on but these don't have to be an exact match by any means but I want a latch like it to start working up ideas and plans...



just need latches like the oem ones... anybody got any close up pictures of them to see how they work and look

What do you mean latches? You mean the twist locks?

SOR has OEM. Not sure if the dealer still has them. Any canvas shop will have or can get something similar including the female receptacle for the canvas.
I'm still on the hunt for something like the rear straps.

Search for "findings". Thats the trade name for that kinda stuff in general. Boat shops and McMaster-Carr also carry that sort of stuff on a more limited basis. McMaster does have the twist locks, grommets and install tools for both.

Usually you'll find the twistlocks that attack with sheet metal screws. The version with the stud is harder to find.

When we did the original Pakistan top order a bunch of us got them from Specialty Top Co. at a much better price than SOR.
