dunno the name of it, but it connects to the rear of the frame and bumper, the triangle piece that holds the shackle to the leaf springs. where can i get 2 whole new ones? and the proper name so i dont look like an idiot when calling to order would also help

i need the triangle piece it mounts to also not just #19. really thats the main thing i need, the hanger itself is perfectly fine. right there my frame had pitted and bent the hell outta it so its gotta be replaced

I bought one of those triangle pieces from a place called Cruiser Solutions back east for a truck I worked on in the shop. IIRC, it was just over $100 and came with the shackle hanger.

It fit perfectly.:)

Hi All:

IIRC, it will be obvious how the shackle hanger mounts onto the triangular brackets - there are holes for the mounting rivets (you can use bolts instead.)

Just remember what the existing orientation of the shackle hangers are before removal so that you install 'em faced the correct way later! :D

Regards,

Alan

when i do get the new brackets how do i know exactly where to position the leaf hanger correctly?

ok sweet. thanks for all the help! i got the rust issue on the rear of my frame fixed tonight burnt the living hell outta my leg when moving the frame. goal is to have a rolling chassis by end of may for my dads 50th birthday so a build thread will be up soon after hopefully!

yep! exactly. when i do get the new brackets how do i know exactly where to position the leaf hanger correctly?

That's what's really cool about the Cruiser Solutions plates: they come WITH THE SHACKLE hanger installed! Just bolt into the frame holes and go.

Best
