Where to buy HIR bulbs

Well I'll have to see what comes in at John Deere, they run $26 a bulb which is pretty much what guy on ebay sells them for with the tabs trimed.

So should I go with the GE tube version or the more bubble Toshiba?

the bulbs i have look just like the one in the second picture.

at this point, i'm wondering if voltage drop is the culprit OR if were my expectations were too high.

I can't tell by your picture. Do your bolbs look like they have the purple-ish infrared coating?

Toshiba, they are supposed to be slightly brighter and last longer.
