I've looked near the starter motor but can't find it?!
I don't know if that's what I should be looking for but every week my overflow canister is empty, although it doesn't normally take any more water to fill up the radiator so not sure whats going on here..

I know my heater tap could do with replacing fwiw

It's above the starter on the water pipe that runs up behind the motor. It's a PITA to see! You can go through the LF wheel well and reach up and touch it. There are 2 bolts that hold the water pipe in place and these need to be loosened to get enough slack to change it. Good luck and if you search you can find plenty of write ups on the subject.

PHH location? In the depths of engine H3LL!!! lol

The PHH is less 'P' in a right hand drive 80...

cheers,
george.

Thanks guys. Found it, and WTF..!!! I can barely TOUCH the rubber from anywhere let alone change it. BUT good thing is, it's rubbery and has flex so was prob done not long ago.

It is my heater tap thats leaking, I can see it on the engine and dripping down the pipes to just above the PHH. I don't really want to pull the hose off in case I fxxx something else so will monitor it. Maybe it just needs re-seating cause the LPG guy was fxxxing around with that hose.
