Seems like the few issues i am having might related to a ground that may have been disconnected. Its labelled as EC in the EWD. Anybody has any idea how to get to it? Is it under the car by the transmission ?

Yep, that is from the EWD but cant tell what is exactly the Air Intake Chamber.... is it the same as Intake Manifold or does it sit somewhere around the manifold...

you mean "(2)" is the EC Ground?

from memory, there are a several of ground points, one of which connect the intake manifold to the fender/frame. One of them must connect back to the engine harness as well, which is where connector 3 comes into play. I do suspect (2) is the EC ground point.

Yes. The "Air Intake Chamber" is the intake manifold assembly, in two halves, between the valve cover and brake booster. There should be a ground wire attached there, immediately above the alternator.

Yes, there is. Looking at the parts diagram on Yoshi, the upper parts is being called the Air Intake Chamber and the lower part is called the Manifold. I thought the whole thing in two pieces is called the manifold.
There is a large ground wire that is integrated in the engine harness that bolts to the lower half of the intake. It’s on the back side of the chamber near the firewall beside the brake booster.
