Still figuring out how to post properly so apologies if this missed the mark. 96LX450 with 144k miles. Going through maintenance (comprehensive baseline list is a huge help!) and suspension/tire mods that make sense to do at this time. Haven't really explored the site but looking forward to participating and learning while building my smiles per gallon relationship with this one of a kind ride.

Right on. Welcome. What are your plans with it and let's see some pics!
Thx!

Holy hell! Your rig is NICE. I think the expectation is usually someone with an 80 with 250k+ miles tryna overhaul most of it but yours is an exception haha. Also I think you’ve convinced me to go with those Nomad wheels. I’ve been going back and forth on different wheels for my 80. They look slick.

Nomads are a nice wheel.

Appreciate that. My son picked those out. Trying to use the site but the search and sort functions aren’t the easiest to use. Like most things in life will get easier with practice/use.

Now that the kids are 20+ the goal is to use the 96 to get out to great trails and fly fishing spots. Don’t plan on any hard core off roading. I’m not a car fix it guy but am enjoying the start on the road to becoming a bit more knowledgeable and functional. Support from users on this site and the Reddit forum is incredible, especially for newbies like me.
