Found this spring on my drivers side floor mat. Where the heck does it go? Pictures appreciated!

What is this…spring fell from under dash

My son was driving the 80 and handled me this spring. It’s about an inch long, .25 diameter and has a clear section of hose inside and a blue stripe painted along the length. I recently had Dajda’s take the dash apart to fix an air mixer servo. That’s only clues I have.
