What is this…spring fell from under dash

My son was driving the 80 and handled me this spring. It’s about an inch long, .25 diameter and has a clear section of hose inside and a blue stripe painted along the length. I recently had Dajda’s take the dash apart to fix an air mixer servo. That’s only clues I have.

Edit to add, I’m positive it’s not a dikfer, left handed turn spring, shoulder thingy that goes up and if it had a fat side it would definitely be up.

I don't recall such a spring from when I removed my dash, but looking at my pics, there is a spring like that in the steering column. Might have something to do with the tilt mechanism.

Damn. 49 mins later we have a winner. I’ll pull the steering column shroud and let you know.
