I ended up putting a couple 6x9's up under the dash, so they hang down but are not in the way. Then used zip ties through the holes that hold the door from swinging open all the way. Worked out pretty good and can hear when driving...

I used an 30MM ammo can for stereo and Ipod, its weather proof, can easily add a lock and can store valuables in it. Arm rest keeps me from hitting it when bouncing around the trails. Mounted between the front seats. Speakers are in 6x9 boxes behind the seats. When I am done wheeling they go inside the house.
