well, i got the compressor mounted belt on and drier and hoses hoooked up and went to unbox the new condensor and it was the wrong one. i've sent it back and the new one should be here anyday. we'll see. it's still high 80's here, so maybe i'll get to use this year.

blowing cold. the compressor i got from cruiserparts is a little worn out, so it's not pulling as much as it should. i'll probably get it rebuilt this winter. at least i know everything else works, and it'll still cool the truck.
hey hey! alright! what, that only took like... 4 months, just about to the day! Ha... well, maybe if you wear enough sweaters, you'll need the A/C?
glad you finally got it together. I'm tackling mine soon... going to use a standard 1FZ compressor and mount, along with a york... and fab up brackets to stack them above the alternator. we shall see if I can get it to work.

soooo, just so yall know what is going on with my a/c-
after about two weeks of having a/c it quit working. i just assumed(mistake) all the freon leaked out and it was turning cool, so i didn't even look at it i just took it to the shop and said i think i've got a freon leak. well, actually, the compressor shaft broke and the front of the clutch is laying on the side of the road somewhere. i just bought this compressor from cruiserparts and they put a brand new clutch on it. they've since sent me another compressor, but it has not come in yet. i'm glad they were willing to do that and i'll let you know how it goes.
this truck just does not want to be cool.
