When you wheel do you disconnect the swaybar?

Quite a bit of sway there in that video. I was real happy with the Dobinson Spring upgrade. Stiffened things up nicely without any harshness. I think my sway bar is adjusted correctly, just wasn't sure if the experts out there had an opion if the bar should be pulling down slightly on the front end.

Dprio can you tell me which Dobinson's springs and shocks you used? I'm getting a KZJ71 and want to go with Dobinson's for the lift but I can't figure out which of the ones I need or if I will need castor bushings or not, and the sales person at dobinsons usa is less than helpful.

@epaul , I used the standard / stock height springs which seemed higher than stock....I guess the old ones were that bad. I did not feel like dealing with castor bushings. With 33” tires this pleanty high for my needs. I have 1989. If you have a 1990> your springs have the shocks inside the spring. Slightly diff than 1989<.

They still make a difference on a leaf sprung rig. I'm also a believer in sway bars if you've got them. I'm going to graft a set of JKS TJ Quicker disconnects on to mine for trail use.

I've thought about removing them, but that's the easy way out and they do make a difference. Especially once I'm done fitting my roof top tent up there.
