Chris- not even close. How's about a nice capable 4Runner? SAS? Doubler? E-lockers? 35" beadlocks? lotsa goodies. the piggy needs love and I wanted something a little different. Can't wait to get to rausch to try her out!!! Gary

hey kids... is this happening on Saturday? I just shined up the Lexus... let's get her dirty!

I will have my PB Rockers next week and I got the fuel line issue squared away so I would be down for something in the coming weeks.

I now have a clicking DS birf. If anyone has one let me know. Otherwise it will be a while till I have the money to replace it.

Just swap sides and re grease. It will be fine....

Swap side as was said and use the damn parts you have and finish rebuilding the front end;p I could help you:D

Mine's clicked since I got the truck. Serviced the front axle and that shut it up for a couple years. Now it's clicking again. Gotta check the grease level, and think about another axle service. Doesn't mean it's going to 'splode tomorrow.

Jeeper Jim and I rebuilt the axle this weekend. We both forgot what a pia it was. Actually found a needle bearing that cracked in half. Clicking stopped. Good to go.

So what date are we looking at, I am thinking about heading up towards the end of March, on the 27th most likely. Should give me enough time to tub the forewall so I can turn lock to lock when flexed out and the snow to melt from around my trailer. Some has melted, I can finally see one fender, but nothing else :D

March 20 anyone???

How's March 20 sound? The FJ group is wheeling Easter weekend (first weekend in April) and I plan to be there to wheel with them. Would love to get out with the some Appalchian guys prior to that. Two weekends in a row, though- might be a little too much for an old guy like myself!!! Post up. Gary S

Hey Guys, new FJ40 owner here in Central PA. Just thought I'de chime in. Hoping my resto will be done in about 6 weeks. I'm looking around for places to get off-road up here if anyone is interested or ever up this way we'll see what we can do.

How much snow was put down by this last storm up around Rausch?

GOPSU--look up Maine Mike on the forum. He lives around State College, too. Any pics of the resto?

Is this trip happening on the 20th? Anyone camping?

I would really like to go and camp. I need to see if mom and the girls will let me out.

Well I am now thinking about heading up on April 3, Easter Saturday. I haven't done a thing to the 4 Runner and would really like to be able to turn the wheels when flexed :)

I'm following this thread because I want to bring my nephew and brother along. My nephew would really dig wheeling and it would be basically a birthday gift for him. He called the Cruiser a Jeep once, I corrected him, and he's never made the mistake again! The 20th won't work for me now, due to plans with the family.
