Onur -

Sorry to hear your wheeling did not pan out. Having said that, how was your afternoon of SF hang out and tequila?

P.S. Maybe you've seen the bumper sticker up there:

I <heart> Fanta Se

Think about it.

Wheeling not happening. Santa Fe hang out and Tequila is...

We didn't wheel? What happened? Was that whole trip a flashback?

I can't thank you enough Onur for lighting the fire under my ass to come out West.
A short visit but one I will remember for a long time.

I now have even more remorse for letting my 80 go after spending the weekend in yours
and going for a ride in Rorys'. It was a pleasure to meet him and Cruiserdan as well.

I will be driving out there in the near future for sure. I think we made a little too much fun
of the FJC though. Got a flat about 1 mile from home after a flawless day of air travel.
Still won't ruin a great weekend.

Spill of your swill brah?:D

Hey the pics came out great Lovey.

We were not planning on doing any wheeling and just going to Santa Fe to hang out before the show, but we took a little detour into the area north of Lake Cochiti...beautiful area indeed. And great, nearby camping spots that are really secluded.

Amazing destruction of forest up at the Bandolier Peak area and the lookout up there. It was amazing just to come out of the forest and see utter devastation of the forest. But, as always, nature is making its way back--beautiful flowers and the like all over up there.

Paolo Soleri ampitheatre is an epic venue for shows...loved it. I just could care less for the nappy, stinky, sketchy, hippie characters that seemed to come out of the mountains for the show....these people need to get a life (and a real job)....beautiful women in Santa Fe too....but I am sure they are too high-maintenance!

;p

Lovey--you are welcome back anytime brother. And the FGC will always receive a ribbing from me....

Are you sure they weren't physicists from Los Alamos?

The Bandelier fire was courtesy of the Park Service (USDOI, not to be confused with the Forest Service USDA) with help from Smokey Bear's efforts over the decades...
