Yep, went out with the Wild West Fab crew, for the Metal Tech fenders and full roll cage's shakedown cruise. Plus, we brought the Aussie HJ47 out as well to try the Hercules Trail Digger 33" tires. 93 degrees here in Washington and a helluva fun day. The cage kicks ass, and the Troopy is totally fun. Enjoy the pics!

nice!

looks like alot of fun

It was great. The Metal tech cage and fenders are pure gold. The powdercoating is called "silver vein" and looks killer.

I think we're going out again in the middle of August, Dave, if you actually want to do some wheeling. :D

Best leave the troopy at home, though, because it won't go where we're going.

Sounds good. 40 or 80? Cos my 80 is a BEAST.

Awesome pics! That is some serious mud on those tires! Stuff looks like grease!! hilarious!

Horrible stuff (aka, totally fun). It has been hot and dry here for weeks...but when the tires broke down through this topside dry crust, there was this stuff. Call it 50% dry, 50% moist, totally heavy and sticky...gnarly. The FJ40 is running 34" Interco LTBs. Awesome mud tires but this stuff was putting the hurt down.

Either one, up to you. 80s will go there, but there might be some sheetmetal damage. I think we're going over to the Liberty, Table Mtn area. Some of the trails are kinda narrow.

Hey, where is the review of the Hercules Trail Digger tires?

Hi All:

Yeah Dave, bring the FJ40 over for the Seattle Cruiserheads Liberty/Table Mountain run in mid-August!

Regards,

Alan

Hey, where is the review of the Hercules Trail Digger tires?

Issue after this. They're also being tested on a 40.

Thanks for that advice--and will do. Been meaning to, and now with our new Warn Pullzall we have an excuse to remove it!
