That would be WAY out of my way, however it looks like I will be leaving Saturday morning as well so I may see you on the road? PM me your cell # and I can give you a shout when I get to 41.

Great wheeling with all of you guys! Lets do it again real soon.

All kiddin aside, it turned out to be a pretty nice day saturday. Slippery as hell early. Otherwise nice weather for the trails. The place was quiet so that made it all the better.

No damage to the 55. It is power washed and stored for the winter. Time to get the next weekend or day trip planned seeing as the Toys For Tots even is out this year for me.

thinking the Cliffs real soon just to get some fresh air and mud.

Goebs, I also need to get out, but im not really interested in the cliffs. Maybe badlands if we get a warmer/dryer weekend, or Mc Caslin. ;)
 
Sorry I couldnt make it, Im flat broke, my grandpa needed his tractor fixed, the weather looked crappy, and my dog just got kenel cough so I couldnt take him, or hand him off to any of my "dog owning" family members.
 
McCaslin might be in order if we can grab a weekend. Hunting season is close so might just be a weekend of "thinking of wheeling" and relaxing.

As for not being there... I was parked behind the red building, a few trucks away from the green lexus 450. I came through the front gate after breakfast.

We did a power cruiser to the rock quory and then went through some trails down to the creek. We then header out of the creek to the gravel pits. Cruiser through the lot to see if any cruisers were there. Saw none. Left park and hit some local trails. Just figured i was solo so i decided to do more woods stuff over at a friends place. It was nice to actually test the 55 a bit.

Sorry I missed you all... I am not sure how we missed each other except for the time change part.. But my wagon is hard to miss so not sure what happened.

So yes I was there and yes it was a blast. Not to mention two prime ribs in a row at Jeff's place. Amazing as usual.

did i just read 4 excuses. you know you only really need one. You wheel more than most so missing a weekend is all fine.

Whats wrong with the Cliffs? All kidding aside, it took me 2-1/2 hours to get home so thinking if I miss traffic, it is close to the same time as the badlands if I haul ass. I might be up for a weekend back to do some "VIP" wheeling. I have some hills in mind that the 40 needs to try on pitbulls.
 
Speaking of bs. Did you see the green jeep on the rocks with the model t looking rig? Crazy looking black thing? or did you at least see the nissan group?

Fess up... what else was going on there so show you made it? What were the chicks at the counter wearing? That will tell it all....

That doesnt make sense...the Cliffs is MUCH closer to you than the badlands.

I am kinda avoiding the cliffs lately. I have wheeled everywhere I can/want, and everytime I go, I destroy the doors some more, and come home with 200#'s of mud. So the wear and tear isnt worth it. But I may still go. Badlands, I could do, Mccaslin I could do ;) .

Ill swap out tires for a day if you want, but the pitbulls might be gone in a week.

I know Jeremy was right in the front of the camping area before the gates even opened. They were there when I pulled in right at 9:30, I signed and paid and we went to the upper lot. Then back to the lower lot, back to the upper lot, over to the camping area then at about 10:15 we went into town to see if people were eating at the restaurant(the one w. the chicken out front). Couldn't find anybody so we waited around in the upper lot for another 20 minutes or so before we hit the trails.

I saw that "rat-rod" black looking thing - yeah it was odd to say the least. We hit the quarry and did several trails, it was pretty damp and windy until early afternoon - then it turned into a beautiful day. Very odd that we didn't see you because it seemed like we saw a bunch of the same people over and over again. We saw all the Nissan's, they were actually camped at the other end of the campground. Did you go down the "haunted trail"? The chicks were dressed up for halloween or something weren't they, I really wasn't paying that much attention cause I just got of the rig from a 3 hour drive and had to piss real bad.
 
We had a good time out there. The guy with the band new jeep was a good laugh.

Any good pictures to post up?
