It's tempting... I'm already taking off Tuesday to judge a middle school orchestra festival. Maybe I should just add another day on...:hhmm:

Im in dude. Flyin' solo this time, my co-pilot has school and soccer practice.

Well, I'm in and my mother is actually flying in from snowbound D.C. tomorrow, so will be joining us. Funny thing is, we made this same run 3-10-08. Here's some pix - I expect more water this time...

I'm still in rain or shine, the washes shouldn't be too bad just as long as the rain stays light today. I was out there Sat. night East and West on Table Mesa rd., things have washed out bad but it seems like everything will be passable one way or another.

8:30 @ 4 Son's on the NE. side of Carefree Hwy. + I-17

I have to go on a rescue mission first thing in the morning. I caught word that some friends need a hand recovering some Razors and Rhinos from below Cleator... One is tied to a tree under water as of Sunday and the other 4 are scattered down the river, no one was hurt but there's $50k down the drain (or should I say river). I was asked to be on call in case the recovery helicopter that they hired falls through, as I make a hobby of off-road recovery. Best case I will see you @ 4 sons @ 8:30 to go wheeling if I am not needed.

That sucks. Good luck to your friend on recovering his toys and hopefully the chopper comes through and we will see you in the am. Who knows, maybe we will have to use your recovery skills :hillbilly:

What a great day we had. Had a little mud, but most of it got washed off by high speed water crossings. Eric cooked up some hot sandwiches for lunch, broke out the golf ball launcher a few times, shot the handgun a few times at some trash, then hauled it out. Ran with Chris in 100 and Tony w/ his buddy Blake in the mini, who ive never met before, Cool guys. Then of course there was myself, Eric, and Carl and his momma. After shooting a plastic 5 gallon water container we had found with the golf ball launcher, a discussion started over the CB about what else it could do damage too. Tony then mentions he has a Tacoma at his house thats been totalled but still has a good door and hood. So after wheelin, everyone heads over to his house except for Carl and his mom, and we see what it could do. I uploaded a video of it all to youtube, heres the link: YouTube - golf ball versus Toyota Tacoma
I also took a little footage of the stream crossings, im uploading it now. I'll post a link to that later on.
