I am looking for tires and have a question.

I run 15x8" wheels. Can Swamper TSL SX 35x15.5x15's run on this wheel width? I was looking for 12.5 or 13.5 tires, but if this option would work OK I might go for it.

One thing I was thinking about was to weld on some bead locks bringing the width to about 9".

Thanks.

35 wont fit under standard height 40,i run 33 and at max flex with 1.5 inch shackles on rear i still get a very slight rub

Mine isn't stock. I can run 36's. My worry is if the tires can be safely run on 8 inch rims. My next worry is that I would need spacers. My current 33x12.5's do rub on the inner fenders, front and rear, at full stuff. 15.5's should be worse.

I have nearly talked myself out of these tires already :) I don't want to deal with spacers.

15.5" tires on 8" rim...No

15x10's would work. Geez, I couldn't give away a set of 15X10 white spokes last yr. So I did. You should be able to get a set of 15x10"s for less than a $100 used.
