Can the weights being epoxied to the inside rim work?
The adhesion properties of decent quality weights is IMO not the issue, again the fitters diligence on getting the inner rim surface clean of brake dust and other grime is what makes the difference whether the weights stay on or not.

I was just saying that it would give the weights some extra grab from lifting up over the wheel edge like the pic shown here... it seems there are a lot of non diligent wheel weight installers out there by the sound of it, if I ask the weight installer to clean the surface of the are where the weight will go on he'd laugh in my face.

I think you misunderstood me? I meant clean the surface properly where the stick on weights go INSIDE the rim.

Are those type "FN" weights? In addition to being diligent during installation of the weights, the installers need to be diligent about using the proper weight for Japanese alloy wheels. I.e., type FN weights. It should say FN on the weight.
I Had LT 345/75 16 Km2 Mounted at a truck stop and they said all the large tires they mount ,Equal is Installed. I Said O k and 4000 mi. later I am Impressed. It worked for me and cost 12. per tire. They also said that these large Tires will not balance well with weights. Good Luck.I dumped about 9 ounces of ceramic beads into each of my tires and don't bother with wheel weights.
i have been running BB's in my tires for a number of years now and have not had any problems from it... the first time i used them i broke 2 of the tires down after about 6 months to check on the BBs and the only noticable change was that the copper coating had worn off... i have run them in 2 sets of bias ply tires and 1 set of radials and i will continue to use them...
for reference i ran 12oz in 2 different sets of 35s and have 16oz in the 37s i have now... i jug of BBs did all 4 37s at a cost of about 8$...
just my .02

Unsure if the beads in the tyre will be much better than stick on weights but would be interesting to find out.
