Hey I'm looking for advice on this 80 wheel that has what looks to me like corrosion. The other 3 look fine but this novice is wondering if Its ill advised to use this wheel in its current condition. They've been sitting for some time but I'd like to mount them on my 4runner.

What do you think?

If you haven't done so, get after that with a wire wheel or sandpaper. If it's not bad in the bead area id clear them to stop growth and go for it.

Thanks. I haven't done anything to them more than an intense scrubbing. I've been told previous to blast and powdercoat but I think that's overkill since the others are in fine shape.

I used scotchbrite plus lots of elbow grease to remove the oxidation on my old american force wheels. Using a wire wheel on a drill or air tool with sandpaper can make the job easier.
