@little_joe where do you attach the bottle jack with the jack adaptor on the front of the GX470? I went to take a quick look and my LCAs are flat and wide near the tire, but skinny closer to the middle of the GX470. So, where's a good place to lift the front tire from on the GX470?

Here's a picture looking up from under my front LCA. There's a skinny area near the skid plate. Is that safe to lift from that area? The lowest point in the LCA is very wide and flat.

By the way, the owner's manual says this about jacking up the GX470:

Rear: Jack up from the rear axle
Front: Under the frame side rail

If you need to lift just one front corner, under the control arm out towards the lower balljoint where it's flat (and lowest point): I don't use the cradle in this case, no need. @LandCruiserPhil posted a picture of a 100 Series (previously in this thread) using a front crossmember as the jack point with the cradle, works for us too if you need to get both front off the ground and the same time, such as in the garage.

In my driveway on a flat area... @LandCruiserPhil jack adaptor works really well in the rear axle of the GX470 with the oem stock jack, but doesn't appear to work so good under the front LCA. Adaptor fits in the oem stock jack storage location. I might just need to add a good base and get creative with blocks when I need extra height.
