What's your favorite torque wrench?

Most of us have more than one, as time goes on. I've owned a few, from the el-cheapo crank-type to more expensive models.

I just picked up a digital one off Amazon - looks promising. But it got me to wondering what other 'mud folks like/use/hate.

Really like my snap-on inch pound dial. It's just neat to me.

I just picked up a Craftsman clicker style wrench for $40 from Sears. I definitely got what I paid for. It works, but it won't lock anymore (only a few hours of use).

Nice. I tend to want to lean away from extra gizmos just for simplicity, but i'd be really curious to see how you like that. Keep us posted!

I bought a couple of used Snap-on click styles off eBay, then had them calibrated. No complaints. Pretty much what you'd expect.

Okay, I used the Brown Line for a few days this week. It was easy to use and set, however from time to time it seemed to have a mind of its own where it would 'save' the previous highest torque setting, waiting for you to acknowledge it. While this is a useful feature, it seemed to show up at random times, which lead you to have to spend more time verifying that it hadn't happened between uses. When it was working, however, it made quick work of setting multiple blots to the same torque setting. Especially when you weren't able to even see the display.

It IS big, which can be a real problem sometimes. It was a challenge finding a good angle to torque up the brake caliper bolts. I resorted at one point to my older, smaller one just to get the job done!

Anyway, I think it was worth it for $100 - being able to quickly set the torque was really, really nice and that part worked really well.
