What's missing from this picture?

I've been slowly picking away at the cruiser the last few days getting ready for the new motor. Its coming along pretty well. I got the front end torn apart but I'm not sure if its worth taking the fenders off too. I think i will try to keep them on...

Anyway, it actually came apart with little trouble, despite being the first time since new and having spent its whole life in the salt belt. I only broke two bolts and stripped one! The A/C was an adventure, turns out it hadn't been discharged.....but i discovered it has been converted to R-134a! :whoops: Other than that, easy as store-bought pie.

I am trying to get the motor here in two weeks!! I can't wait. Hopefully i can get the front clip sealed up and some new pwr steering lines before then...

IIRC, it is already an HJ60... And he was pulling the 2H in favor of something better... ?? 1HZ maybe? What was it...?

yes, its a 1HZ! 10 pts to teh ferg. sorry, forgot to mention that detail....a 1HZ/H55F is replacing the tired 2H/H55F.

Man, what a beauty. Are you sandblasting everything and repainting before the new 1HZ gets there?

That's going to be sweet. What's the HP and torque output going to be for the new lump?

thanks! I am not sure yet if i am going to sandblast the front clip and then seal it or just take a wire brush too it and some POR-15 or rust bullit. It all depends on what I have time for. I just want to get it on the road, it doesn't need to be perfect. Other body work will probably wait unless i have time in august to take care of it. To be honest it ain't terrible as it is but i would like to get somthing on those frame rails before i set that motor down.....

I think stock 1HZs put down about 130hp and 195 ft-lbs. MUST.......HAVE.........TURBO......
