ah yes, there were some carbed 3F's sold in 91-2 in OZ and elseware(like the Venz spec FZJ)

that would make mucho sense......as its the same-ish spot the choke is on a fj60

I think it's for a choke cable for carbureted models...............

It's to run a catheter out under the vehicle for long road trips. It is an accesory included with a the purchase of long range fuel tank.

prolly for the same reason as me, we all think of the 80's as being FI gassers or dsl, not carbed.......and yes they were. We also think the OEM lockers didnt show up untill 93.......but they had em in 91-2
