Hello,

I am needing to replace my rear leaf springs but I'm struggling to figure out the rating and lift thats currently on my 1990 troopy. Its sitting at 58 cm from axel to fender at the rear and 52 cm at the front. Any idea what the stock ride height is and what weight rating to get as a replacement. Also can you replace just on side or are both needed?

I would ring up Dobinsons and ask which of their kits would match stock ride height and load capacity. Even if you don't buy springs from them (I did and am really happy with my Dobinson setup) I bet you'll have an answer in a few minutes. Their tech sales guys are sharp.
Thanks I’ll give them a call

My understanding is if you want stock height your only option is factory 🤷‍♂️
I’m just trying to figure out the lift height that’s on it now so I can replace it to the same height / rating. I was thinking I could base it off the stock height as I believe it’s not stock.
Cheers

Hello,

The FSM mentions frame ground clearance only.

Using 31 x 10.5 x 15 tires, stock frame ground clearance is 476 mm / 18.74 in. in the front and 478 mm / 18.82 in. in the rear.

Hope this helps.
