What's next? Long weekend at Badlands?

What day are we talking about? You could go to Rocks and Valleys and stay at Casa de Gum, or a ton of other hotels in the area.

I could swing a rocks and valleys trip. I could drive up to the casa de gum on Friday after work, however i have to be back home before Sunday morning. I will probibly just head home after wheeling, def be cool to check out a new place. I'm cool with a badlands run as well.

All the cabins at Badlands are booked up.
I prolly need to stick with badlands cause Dylan is only coming for the day on Saturday & maybe Saturday night if we can find a place.
This is fxxxed.
Oh well, in the face of adversity, we are forced to improvise.

Yes they has cabins.
Kinda pricy, but not if split several ways.
I may have to do a day trip as well.
Still not ruling out over night, just don't look good at this point.
Part of the fun is chillin with my homies & drinking. Camping is a possibility but it's supposed to be cold.

I would agree 100% and Ill bet most others would too. Normally I would not even consider a day trip, 6 hours of driving and wheeling all day makes for a very long day.....but I'm itchy to get out considering the sucky weather headed our way for the next few months.
My youngest daughter, Abby (14) will be riding co-pilot. We might get a couple hours of the morning drive out of the way fri night and get a room some where along our route.

The Hotel is devastating news.

We gotta figure something out for the december run if that is still going on. Maybe inquire about the price/amenities of the badlands cabin while out there? I wonder if they don't allow booze in the cabin since it's after the checkpoint...

I do agree it sucks about the hotel.
I am game for tent (truck) camping cause I also agree that the hang time is a huge part of why I like to get together.
I guess Badlands camp it is.
I'll call tomorrow & see if they have spots.

I've camped at the Badlands in 30 degrees. It wasn't very awesome if I recall, and that was with my two favorite menage a trois buddies.

I have a room reserved in Logansport for Fri night and will have to head home after wheeling Saturday.

I am willing to camp, but I think I'm the only one. Do not camp on my behalf! If this is a day trip, so be it.
