My truck sits sadly in the garage without a head right now. I took it to a shop to have it gone through and they found a few cracks so it will be all welded up and ready to rock and roll by tomorrow.

Conner & I won't be wheeling Friday.
So I'll be arriving Friday evening also.
I think John & I are sharing a room, we usually do. And might I add the man love is amazing!

My plan is to go down Fri night then I have to head home Sat night after wheeling.
I haven't stayed at the hotel for a couple years.
I have been trying to make a reservation by phone with no luck.
The recording now says the number has changed, not sure what to make of this.

s***. I'm out. I told Eric to come out for this weekend, and he informed me that we have a family thing going on Saturday.
I was given months notice, just never put it on the calendar.

Hotel Attica is no more! 
I called Pizza King across the street to confirm and the girl who answered the phone even worked at the Hotel and she said they closed suddenly about 3 weeks ago! The hotel is for sale.
I asked where else could be comparable and she said Robbie's is similar (rooms above a bar/restaurant). Though I don't see anything on the website indicating they are a hotel...
I hope Jeff and Berdie all the best and really enjoyed that hotel!

That does bring a certain degree of suck.
Was looking forward to the bar time with Jeff as part of the adventure.
Trip advisor says there is a B&B called Apple inn.
But reviews say they frown on loud groups & drunken rowdy guests.
So that's out.

Ok. So Robbies does not have rooms.
He will allow hunters to stay over night as a special favor to some friends of his.
That is all.
The Hotel off St. Rd. 28 is the only other place.

There is a super 8 in Danville Il.
That's the next closest thing at 20 miles from Attica & 47$ a night.
Danville has lots of hotels but that's the cheapest all are 20 to 25 miles from Attica.
This blows.
I'm now undecided on my plan.

And Purdue has a home game Saturday so you can probably forget anything even close to Lafayette
Wow. That sucks. I hope Jeff and Bertie are OK. If something happened to either of them I doubt the hotel could stay open.
