Well it may be no surprise to anyone after the Christmas Party, I would like to re-introduce one of our more recent and unique vehicles...After much deliberation and conversing back and forth between Brett and I we came to an agreement and can't say enough about the friendships this club has created and how unique it's members are. I had been in the market for something more unique the last few months as I hadn't really been using the 80 to it's potential other than the most recent Logan's Run. While I have enjoyed the build and past wheeling trips, after the motor swap I didn't find much to work on or build in addition to what the 80 already had. As many of you know I am usually always working on something so the Troopie gives me a chance to get back into working on a cruiser again...I'll let Brett tell his story on the 80... Brett and Quinton have done a fabulous job with the truck and I look forward to continuing this legacy. Upcoming projects involve getting the interior back to it's original condition and install a rear bench and drawer system so I can get the family back involved in more club events and camping trips. I have some axle seals and engine seals I will be replacing next week to fix a few leaks and then I intend to enjoy driving the truck. Oh, and with the newest addition our family due in April I would like to try and replicate this little adventure toy for our little boy to have one day. Build pictures to follow as the fun begins...

That is AWESOME! I love that troopy.

Time for a soa!

Been waiting a while for this thread since I first told Brett to get ahold of you back in september.

Congrats dude.

And double congrats on the other new addition.

Glad to see it stayed in the club .

Thanks Al. Shelley was a little sad to see the 80 go but it's in good hands with the Schell family and Brett knows Eleanor will be knocking on his door when she turns 16

Awesome Greg!

It was a really interesting sale process with the Troopie. I received a ton of offers (some were really out there!) but to me, the most important part was that it go to a good home, someone who appreciates what it is and can take it to the next stage. Obviously I found that and more!

What can I say about the 80? I have always loved Greg's, in fact looking at some of my posts way back to 2009 I was calling dibs on it if there was ever a hint of sale talk!

Al gets credit for initiating all of this, plus he has always told me that I needed an 80 and he was right! He planted the seed when I first put the cruiser up for sale. I probably should have made a deal the first time I talked to Greg because at the end of the day, I knew what I wanted all along!

I plan on just enjoying it and using it in the mountains with the family. It really is perfect for us out here. It will see plenty of time in the woods and on the rocks.

I will 100% echo what Greg said...this is such a great group of friends and truly family. I couldn't be happier with the way it worked out. I'm looking forward to coming back soon to hang with all you guys!

Congrats to both of you

Congrats both of ya!!!

Diesel pickup still exists it's just in Florida. I will create a separate thread for the troopie sometime in the new year.

Hell yeah! Ellie will fall in live with the troopie soon enough.

Congrats to both of you! Glad to see the Troopy will still stay in friends hands.

Looks good, Greg. If you would like to put it up on the lift and look under it, give me a shout.

Yes Stan, Heather went above and beyond to get this wrapped up in only a few hours and the driver was very friendly and courteous. Hope Brett is enjoying the truck.

Glad to hear that Greg. Heather is beyond efficient in her job. I hope the day comes that HFS can afford to hire her :)

Hey Stan - like always you and Heather come through!

Thank you guys for setting everything up, couldn't have worked out better. I can send an official review if she would like to put in feedback on the board.

I'm glad to see the Troopy in good hands. I do have one question though.... when did it ship? Cause on my way out to CO I spotted one headed east but couldn't confirm it was the same. It'd be pretty cool if I did pass it on the highway.
