Salida has had an unusually cold winter. The local ski area has had over 300 inches this season with a current base of nearly 100. (I need to learn to ski).

It has been a great snow year. Wolf Creek has been great and Taos was great on Friday.
Here's a pic of our new abode (its a rental, hopefully lock it up this week) outside of Durango down Wildcat Canyon towards Farmington. Plenty of snow to go around.

The previous renters said both neighbors across the way have tractors. They said they always come over and plow the drive. I plan on making friends early.
