What'd you do to your KREWESER today?

What I did to my FJ this weekend.

I washed it. That's kind of a giant step for me. :)

The IPF light covers were looking pretty ratty so I ordered a set, but the pressure washer took off a layer of sun damaged plastic and the old set looks pretty good now.

I cancelled my XM account today. I have been having reception problems; bad antenna, bad connection, or bad receiver module for my Pioneer nav unit. But rather than fix it, I just decided to simplify. It's really not part of my daily routine, but I'll miss it on "expeditions." I might upsize my MOG account.

Cool. I just updated mine to BFG AT's in that same size.

How you like them? I loved my bfg at's

So far so good. Why are you switching to the kumhos?

I have a friend, not me mind you, that was torquing down on a wheel lug nut today and it snapped. My friend was wondering are the wheel studs easy to replace on the fjc? He has replaced them on fj40's but not on the fjc. I would be very grateful, I mean he would be greatful for any info on this.

Thanks,
Andre

Funny, I just happen to have 8 wheel studs for an FJ that I can't use. Usually, you just drive them out with a hammer, then press the new one back in. i'd be glad to give you one though I think there is a difference in studs between front and rear and I only have rears.

Let me know if you need one and if it's front or rear.

Bart

I mean your friend. ;)

I understand that part, but why the Kumho's? Just curious.

I got the deal of a lifetime on 5 with the tpms rebuild kits. Shipped to me for free and free lifetime replacement. For under 1050

That IS a deal. My BFG AT's were 1400. What's a TPMS rebuild kit?
