That's what I did with mine, Kevin's and Will's. Kevin still has a little rubbing on one of the mounts. But he's also running spacers which could have something to do with it with the MTR's. I have spacers also and I rub a bit on the front but I know why. We are going to redo Kevin's to eliminate the rubbing if his alignment doesn't fix him up.

Remove my sliders, sanded and repainted them, reinstalled.
Also painted the new winch mount Erick donated to the cause. Thanks again Erick.

X2 on that. Sliders look nice though. I'm thinking of replacing mine with something that sticks out a bit further, but not sure. I need it to act a bit more as a step too.
I like the kick out length of my all pros sliders a lot. They are very functional for when I have to put my bike up on my roof rack (would be impossible without the step out) and have saved my doors from other people dinging them and saved me from trees.
The only downside I have found is I do not know how much longer mine will last with the abuse I am putting them through. But then again you all know how I
.
Sliders are not necessarily meant to be a permanent, one time purchase if you are going to wheel. They take the bashing so your rig doesn't and you replace them as needed.......same with skid plates.......at least that's the way I understand it. Having said that, I have yet to replace my sliders.......
