I have a set temporarily on my trail rig right now until i decide between pit bulls or bfgs but as far as mud goes they seem to dig through the sloppy stuff okay, i have only had them out on small rock but its mostly like slick rock type stuff and anything will stick to that stuff. Road manners were pretty nice considering the truck and the tires had been sitting under a cj restore project of mine and my dads for nearly an entire year and hardly any vibes with minimal noise noticed over the exhaust notes. i'll get some pics if i get a chance in the next few days.

I have not own any of this, but heard lots of good things about it.

Fantastic tires. I drove on Dueler MTs for years which are nearly the same tire. They wear slowly, have excellent road manners, and they do very well off road. Too bad they don't come bigger than 33".

I think they come in 35's now.

I have a friend that runs them on his 80 and he got them back in Sept. 315/75/16.

They are nice tires.

I've been running the 33" size for years on my 80. They are very quiet for a mud tire. Good road manners.

They are a really good compromise between a tire that can handle the slop and still drive you back home. They aren't a swamper, but are still very grippy.

In the last year I've noticed they've taken a lot of cuts and chunks out of the tires. But, I've taken them to Moab, beat the piss out of them, and drove 'em back home again. Plus, more abuse on rocky terrain here in Iowa.

Snow- Well, good thing they're on a 4WD vehicle. They have no siping and (I think) would handle really poorly in 2WD. They do have large lug voids and will dig through mild snow quickly.

Mud- They do fine. Not as good as true swampers or the like. But you wouldn't want to drive on swampers for hours either.

Note on air pressures- Mine are either D or E load rated (I forget right now...) and take a LOT of airing down to get good grip. This is probobly the single biggest detrement to the tire. I have literally wheeled on a tire with ZERO air pressure and not noticed any ill effects and only minimal sidewall bulge. As they get more and more broken in ( or used ) they get more pliable. This year (4 years on the tires) I now air down to 15-17 PSI so I can still get to a gas station safely to air back up. But seriously, you can still drive on them with 2-3 PSI with little issue.

If it's true that they are now offered in 35" sizes, I'll be buying those when the 33's run dry.

67 lbs per tire. .... makes for a very heavy wheel/ tire combo though...

my 33's are about 20 lbs lighter per tire.

The Toyo MTs are 76lbs per tire. The Firestone MTs are 9lbs lighter per tire. That is pretty significant for those looking for a streetable 35". At this point Firestone MTs will be next new tire.

km2's are 60 lbs per tire, don't know how they hold up though.... they are too new to be a known quantity in the durability department.

I know the destinations are tough as nails.

Not sure about the KM2s but the KM1s are clamshell molded. I think the KM2s are also. The Destinations are segmented mold which is superior for holding a balance. The Toyo MTs are also segmented mold as are all street performance tires.

Good to know they offer a 35 now. I think these are going to be my next tires.

Yes these seem pretty heavy indeed, whats a good compared tire with light weight? i have a set of Hankook MTs on my tacoma, they seem ok in the mud, but not impressive, but those are really heavy too so im thinking maybe firestone MT or if i can find a much lighter MT tire... cant try to save weight on a 80 yet get the heavies tires out there, wouldnt help much haha
