craigslist What would be a reasonable offer for this 1974 FJ55?

I'm more interested in a FJ60 but I saw this 55 on CL and was curious what a reasonable offer would be?

I've always like the 55s especially '74 and later but I worry about finding parts for them and it's rare to find them without the typical rust, etc. which is why I've targeted my search to the 60s. This one caught my eye because of the seemingly great condition.

It is a decent looking Pig. My concern, since painted is how much rust. I would definitely take a magnet to the common rust areas. I have a beautiful 60, but I would consider this 55. To me, I think $14 to $15 k if the body is as good as it looks and the engine and transmission are in good shape is a fair price.

If you want a 60, get a 60, before you get swine flu and are addicted to the 55s! No known cure as of yet. Symptoms usually include spending increasing amounts of money though.

We're I into 60s, I personally would go for this rig. Love the diesel and the expedition top. I've driven RH drive vehicles in other countries, but not in the states. Would not be a big deal for me.
