Hello all,

I have had a trailer built of square tube and now have plywood bolted onto the sides. Now I want to cover it up to give it weather protection as well as better looks. I think most people use aluminum sheet, correct? Are there better alternatives, like plastics or some other type of metal? If aluminum is the best choice, what gauge would you recommend?

Thanks!

Henry

Show us some pics... We skinned ours with steel and did a solid weld around. I believe most people do use aluminum, but I'm unsure as the most popular thickness. It likely will vary based on the support your trailer has and you intentions for it as well.

If it's just a weather cover and not intended to take any strain, would some sort of canvas be an easier/lighter solution?
