I am pretty sure this answer is hid in a build thread but didnt come up on its own. If anyone can help or guide me to a link that may have the answer I appreciate it.

I have a scout box. I picked up a steering shaft off of an Iroc because it was almost perfect length and when I got home the shaft on the box is to big. I figured well that is what I get for taking one off a car so I went on another quest and removed one from a two wheel drive pick up because the rag joint was considerably larger by eye and it too is to small to fit on the scout box's spline (same as car). Before I screw up for a third time what the heck am I looking for other than a scout (not that many laying around) Maybe a fourwheel drive GM?? I can slide the box end of a 3/4" wrench over the scout box's shaft and it fits snug. The others are probably around 5/8"

Howdy! If your not 100% sold on a rag joint, the go to <www.Borgeson.com> and look for a joint that will match the box and the steering shaft. John

Good search! I was going to say an older Jeep "Saginaw" system and I believe i ripped the upper joint from a mid-90's Chevy Astro van and frankensteined them together.

Just an FYI the list of vehicles appears to be correct. I yanked one off of a pontiac GTO 1970 fullsize car and it was correct. Just an FYI I paid 10 bucks for the steering box side of the rag joint.
